For New Zealand, captain Sophie Devine scored an unbeaten 75 in 55 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes. Apart from them, Medi Green scored 29, Suzi Bates 13 and Raquel Priest six.
Kavisha Dilhari and captain Chamari Atapattu took one wicket each from Sri Lanka.
Earlier, Sri Lanka’s team could only manage 127 runs for seven wickets. For Sri Lanka, captain Chamari Atapattu scored 41, Harshita Madvi scored 27 not out, Hasini Perera scored 20 and Anushka Sanjeevani scored 15 runs.
Hailey Jenson took three wickets for 16 runs from New Zealand. Apart from him, Amila Kerr got two and captain Divine and Lee Tahuhu got one wicket each.
