The 2019-20 final of the Ranji Trophy: Both Saurashtra and Bengal teams are waging a battle on the field along with their games. This was observed in the morning session on the fourth day of the Ranji final at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. It seemed that the players and teams are at stake. Saurashtra captain Jaydev Unadkat was getting upset with the big fourth-wicket partnership between Sudeep Chatterjee and Wriddhiman Saha. The result was that when he threw the ball angrily towards the batsman, he uprooted the middle stump.
Supreme court petition to ban IPL, the court said to go to the regular bench
This incident happened before lunch. Chatterjee and Saha had troubled the Saurashtra bowlers. Especially Saha batted excellently. The wicketkeeper-batsman of the Indian team was caught by Vishwaraj Jadeja off the ball of Unadkat. After lunch, Saurashtra appealed to Caught Behind for Saha, but it was clear in the replays that the bat had hit the ground.
Earlier, Bengal head coach Arun Lal criticized the wicket saying, “Very bad wicket. The board should look into these things. This wicket is not good for cricket.
The pitch curator, however, denied Arun’s point and said that the batsmen and bowlers are eating out because of the poorer judgment in the wicket. He said, “The result of the hasty decisions taken by the Bengal coach is that the coach has to make such statements.”
