Neil Snowball, The CEO of county cricket club, is become the new managing director county cricket. The England and wales cricket board announced on thursday, 7th january.
Neil Snowball Said: ” I have thoroughly enjoy my time at warwickshire and I am grateful to the chairman. The board of directors for giving me this opportunity to lead such a great club, and all of their support over the last four years.
With a young squad, I belive that we will continue to challenge for trophies in the coming years under the leadership of paul farbrace.
Snowball was appointed as warwickshire chief executive ar beginning of 2016. During that time he has oversean a period of considerable growth, Inovation and success. Now in recent years, edgbaston stadium has become renowned as one of the best cricket venues in the world having hosted the ICC champions trophy twice.
Edgbaston hosted five marquee fixtures in the hugely successful ICC men’s cricket world cup, In 2019, which eventually saw England crowned as champions, It also staged a record breaking test match in the drawn series with australia.
