Guwahati: The former Indian Premier League champion Rajasthan Royals has started a three-day pre-season camp at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on Thursday. Rajasthan Royals team has to play their two home matches in the upcoming season of the league at this stadium. The Rajasthan team will host the Delhi Capitals on 5 April and the Kolkata Knight Riders team on 9 April.
The Rajasthan Royals have organized a three-day pre-season camp at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati to help the team’s players understand the conditions of its second home ground. Where 7 Indian players of the team will participate in this pre-tournament camp. This camp will run till Saturday. This pre-season camp is being organized under the supervision of fielding coach Dishant Yagnik along with franchise head of cricket Zubin Bharucha and batting coach Amol Mazumdar.
The team’s bowling coach Stephen Jones will also be present during the camp, who will work with the fast bowlers and all the players. Players will also work on the net session, fitness, and field for the preparations for the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League. The Indian cricketers who will participate in this camp include Anuj Rawat, Ankit Rajput, Akash Singh, Mayank Markande, Anirudh Joshi, Robin Uthappa, and Ryan Parag.
