Jason Holder has command of the West Indies Test team but says he aspires to play in all formats. He said that he wants to earn his name among all.
Kingston: West Indies star all-rounder Jason Holder said that even though he is captaining the Test team, he does not want to be tied in one format and committed to earning a name in all three formats of the game (Holder Wants to Play In All Format ). Holder told ‘Windiescricket.com’, ‘I don’t want to wrap myself up and tie myself in one format.’ He has been the captain of the Test team for the last five years, besides captaining the team in 86 ODIs.
Holder said, “Yes, I am the captain of the Test team but my main focus has been West Indies cricket and that too in all three formats, not just Test cricket.”
He said, ‘I think West Indies cricket is very diverse in many different ways and as a player, we have to understand that each of us has to play our part in it.’
