Free Fire India is now returning with a new tournament, the Free Fire City Open (FFCO)tournament, after the successful conclusion of the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Spring.
Teams from the top eight regions will compete against each other for the ultimate title and massive prize pool, now the tournament follows this interesting format.
Fans will choose which eight regions of the country will take part in tournament by casting their valuable votes. The eligibility criteria have not yet been disclosed, but the event is open for all.
Process: How to vote for the FFCO (Free Fire City Open):
Fans can go to the Free Fire Esports India Facebook page and click on the link provided under the Free Fire City Open post.
Fans can vote for their desired region, and if the area name is not stated, they can mention their desired region name in other column.
Each region will be named after its major cities, for example West Bengal will be recognized as Kolkata, Telangana as Hyderabad, and so on.
The tournament (FFCO) will act as a platform for amateur players and teams to make their name on Free Fire Esports circuit. Registration for the 1st stage i.e., the online qualifiers for the tournament will begin from 26 April 2021, and closed on till 30 April 2021, at 9:00 PM IST.

In India, Free Fire Esports in 2021
Free Fire has promised more than two crore INR worth of tournament prize money for the Indian region in 2021, which includes two India Championships and two pro leagues.
Asides from that, they also organized other micro tournaments like the Tri-Series, Titan Invitational, etc. The finals of the 50,000 USD prize pool Tri-Series are scheduled for April 25th.
Free Fire will also commence its 2021 international tournaments in May with the Free Fire World series (FFWS). The second edition of the Free Fire World Series will feature the top 22 teams from 14 regions around the world.
FFIC Champions Galaxy Racers and Team Elite will represent India at the Free Fire World Series 2021 Singapore. The tournament is scheduled in two stages:
the play-ins on May 22nd and
Finals on May 29th
They will boast a massive prize pool of two million USD.
The event will be followed by an All – Stars tournament in July and another FFWS in November.
